A fun surprise treated me this morning. I built a greenhouse on my patio and recently took off the sides for the season. As our business grows it’s also temporary storage for inventory, as well as some tools. I woke up to find a mourning dove had built a nest in my portable drill bag. Doves aren’t the best nest builders and this one chose a particularly bad spot. So for the next two weeks no drilling for me until some squabs are born. #nature #dove #birding

Some very exciting news. We’re having a pop-up! Next weekend is 420 and we’ll be selling plants and seeds @homecoming in Greenpoint. Homecoming is an amazing flower shop and cafe I’ve been going to for many years and I’m really excited to get to partner with them on our first pop-up. It will be on 4/19 and 4/20 and run from 12-6. We’ll have cannabis seeds and plants for sale, a model home grow kit for orders and a Free Home Grow Class (3PM each day). Really good to see you there!

We got to tour a mushroom farm in Philadelphia and we’re blown away by their mushrooms. Amazing operation and some otherworldly grows. The first picture is actually is a very close relative of Lion’s Mane called coral tooth! Both are variants of Hericium, which also includes Bear’s Head. Absolutely delicious as well! When we open our shop we hope to use them to supply our mushroom infused coffees and teas. More on that to come. Also got some great shots of other mushrooms including chestnut, king trumpet, and black Pearl.
